1. What is the average food and beverage minimum?
The lunch minimum is $125 per person and dinner minimum is $145 per person.
2. Is there a site fee?
Yes, the site fee ranges from $2000-$6000 based on the time of year and time of day.

3. What is included in the site fee?
~Day of Wedding coordination
~Rehearsal the day before the wedding
~Bridal ready room
~Event set up/tear down
~House tablecloths & napkins
~Tables, standard banquet chairs, china, glassware & silverware
~Individual menu cards for each place setting
~Discounted or complimentary guest room dependant on reception location

4. Can the hotel assist with full service wedding coordination?
We offer complimentary coordination services for all events. Wedding rehearsal the day prior is optional. We require that arrangements for catering be made exclusively through the Highlands Inn. Upon receiving an executed contract, we are happy to provide a complete list of preferred vendors.

5. How long can we use the banquet room and gazebo?
The site fee allows for 5½ hours from start to finish (does not include set-up and breakdown time). Time may be extended for $225 per hour, however, evening receptions must conclude by 12 am.

6. Do you offer guest room blocks for weddings? 
Due to the size of our property (48 rooms) we are unable to offer room blocks, however, we are happy to offer a 10% discount to all wedding guests. Discounts will apply to rack rate at the time of reservation (rates are based on availability).

7. What is the weather generally like?
The coast is consistently mild, with an average temperature of 57°F to 68°F year-round. Warm clear days and cool nights characterize the spring and autumn months. Early autumn is the coast's sunniest time of year.

8. Is there a backup site for the ceremony in case of inclement weather?
Yes, in the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in our Fireside Room. The Fireside Room is furnished with two gigantic stone fireplaces lit for your special occasion, wooden floors, and partial ocean views - a perfect alternative for your ceremony. The use of this space is determined 4 hours prior to the ceremony start time and cannot be changed.

9. Can we provide our wine?
Yes. Our corkage fee is $25 per bottle.

10. Are there any “hidden” costs?
~Prices do not include service charge or tax, bartender fees, butler service fees, or outside rental costs (i.e. specialty linens, chiavari chairs, chair covers, specialty place settings, etc.)
